WAD info

What is meant by "limit-removing?"

When I say a WAD needs a "limit-removing" sourceport to run, it means there were errors with vanilla testing. With due time I intend to change this to "Compatibility" (CL-__) for more detailed, specific information. This would require me to replay each map with various ports - So, a lot of testing. Until then, simply saying whether or not you need a sourceport with limit-removing features (I.E. GZDoom, ZDoom, etc) or not has to suffice. I'm sorry for the unprofessional labeling of these maps! When I can, this will be fixed.

Modified files

Each upload is a slightly modified version of the Doomworld release. In 2026, each archived WAD had it's named changed to contain the number 26. This stops after "Thawed City." Most of these are just changed property information, but some have game-related content changed. For example, Mud Plant and UAC Cleanup both contain hotfixes that make the WAD more accessible. With that said, I consider the files hosted here to be the true releases, though different files have been posted to the Doomworld forums.

Un-archived WADs

If a WAD isn't archived, there either wasn't a high enough demand for it to be, or I deemed it to be unworthy of such. There are two ways to obtain them; Either find them on the Doomworld forums, or email me and ask for the download. Some WADs are Neocities exclusive, meaning you won't find them anywhere else.
