Here's something funny I've been meaning to share.

When I was in elementary school, we were routinely tasked with writing short "how-tos" in our composition books as writing practice. These were usually encouraged to be on things we were knowledgeable in, or atleast to an eight-year-old's best ability. Mine were mostly on video games I played back then on my Xbox 360. Among these entries was a "tutorial" on how to "play Doom 3." That was (and still is) my favorite video game. I'll attempt to provide a transcript of the poorly written text I made over 11 years ago below the image provided. With preserved misspellings, of course.

"how to: play DOOM3

I'm good at playing DOOM3. First, walk to Mars City so you can get a pistol. Next, go to adminastrashon Labs. Watch out for imps. Then after Adminashion Labs go to Sector 1. Last, go to enpro plant Don't let loost souls scare you."

I wasn't even able to finish the essay because up until that point the EnPro Plant was as far as I had made it. I don't recall ever having presented the piece in class, which was a shame because there was some real groundbreaking stuff here the world needed to hear, if you couldn't tell.

Over the last month, this site has been through various iterations and remodels. With over 1,000 updates and several shutdowns, I feel that a proper introduction to gitdoomer.neocities.org is overdue.

Firstly, thank you for stopping by. Secondly, I want this site to serve as both a hub for my creations as well as a gateway to other Doom related things, all the while sharing the joy of id Software's Doom and Doom II. On this site you will find exactly that. As of writing this, you can see some of my maps, or browse the resources page to see a wide range of Doom related tools, levels, and even other sites. I know the site is pretty lackluster, but give me some time and we'll be back on top.

I edit this site frequently, so you should stick around and stay on the lookout for new content. I hope you find something of worth on my site.
